word of mouth is our #1 form of successful advertisement

word of mouth is our #1 form of successful advertisement

word of mouth advertising ....It's free! When you buy something do you head to YouTube to research commercials, or do you head online to read reviews, or maybe call a friend or family member to ask their opinion?

Word of mouth advertising will help you spread the word without spending a dime. Yes, they'll take time, but they'll generate great results.

step 1) Email your friends and family.
Tell them you are looking for more people to teach then remember to thank them for their referrals.

step 2) Become active on a social network. Try Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter

step 3) Be a partner with a non profit organization like Ronald McDonald House Charities, The Heart Association, or another charity that you are passionate about , one that is well known in your town.
Due to their good work on behalf of others, non-profits have a positive reputation in their community and an established network of supporters.
Serve them by offering your help with fundraisers or events. You will meet a lot of new people this way.
When your events benefit a non profit the newspapers cover the events for FREE.

step 4) Make it easy for your current customers to give you feedback. Keep customer comment cards out at all your events. Publish good comments on your blogs and websites. If you get any negative comments, be sure to handle them in a kind and timely fashion.

Assignment - For each of you who are working on improving your online presence, do steps 1-4 and report your progress to the group.,

Like a raindrop in a pond...

one little drop may not add much fluid to the pond
but the effects of
positive feedback from your customers can carry a long way.

Last night, I was at a Las Vegas Crafter's Guild meeting. My good friend Betty was there who I have not seen in a few months. As we were talking I was telling her how I was looking for more people to teach...she mentioned how a senior center that she goes to is looking for instructors for their spring classes.
This morning I received a phone call from her saying that the gal in charge is interested in seeing my work and talking to me about teaching for them.
I called back and talked to one person in charge, and left a message for the other one.

..... as I was typing this I was able to talk to Cindy and I have an appointment to show her my work Tuesday August 31st!
As I post this, we have had our meeting and we are scheduled to teach a series of classes.
Our card classes will be FREE but the supply fees are $5 for cards and $8 for scrapbook layouts. We are thrilled to be able to share what we love!

Now how is that for the ripple effect!

May God bless you and your family and your business,
Sherrill Graff
You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never

be able to repay you.

Ordinary people doing productive activities consistently can get extraordinary results!!!!
